Our Story: Woven with Local History
The story of Stacks Clothing Co. begins with a deep reverence for the community we call home. Founded in 2015 by Tabatha and Jody Reisbeck, our boutique was born out of a desire to reinvigorate the historic Main Street of East Helena.
Our name, “Stacks,” carries a poignant significance. It harkens back to the iconic smokestacks of the ASARCO lead smelter that once stood tall in our community for over a century. Those three towering stacks were not just industrial structures; they were the heartbeat of East Helena, shaping the lives of generations, including the family members of our founders who toiled there. Although the physical stacks were demolished in 2009, their legacy lives on. When you step into Stacks Clothing Co., you will not only find stylish apparel but also a piece of local history, woven into each fabric and stitch with care and reverence.
For nearly a decade, Tabatha built a legacy on Main Street, transforming Stacks into an award-winning destination—proudly voted the “Best Clothing Store in Helena.” In July 2024, the reins were passed to Lanny Wock, a proud Montana native with a strong sense of “Small Town Commitment.” With deep roots in the community and years of involvement with the East Helena Rodeo Association, Lanny continues to build upon our established reputation while bringing fresh energy and inclusive options to our beloved boutique.
