Finding the right fit is everything. At Stacks Clothing Co., we want every piece you wear to feel as good as it looks. This size guide will help you select the perfect size for our custom-made Western apparel. Correct sizing ensures comfort, confidence, and complete satisfaction with your order.
We utilize standard unisex sizing for all custom apparel. Because our garments are made-to-order, please review this guide carefully before placing your order — size exchanges for incorrect selections may not be available.
How To Measure Your T-Shirt Fit
For the most accurate fit, we recommend measuring a T-shirt you already own and love. Follow these 3 simple steps. Note: These measurements refer to the garment’s flat dimensions, not your body measurements.
- Prepare the Garment: Lay your favorite T-shirt on a clean, flat, hard surface such as a table or the floor. Smooth out any wrinkles or folds to ensure accurate measurements.
- Measure Chest Width: Measure straight across the chest, approximately 1 inch (2.54 cm) below the armhole seam, from one side seam to the other. This gives you the half-chest measurement — the number used in our size chart below.
- Measure Shirt Length: Starting at the highest point of the shoulder (right next to the collar seam), measure straight down to the bottom hem of the shirt.
Once you have your measurements, compare them to the chart below to find your ideal size. If you fall between two sizes, we recommend sizing up for a more relaxed, comfortable fit.

Sizing Tips & Recommendations
- Between sizes? We recommend sizing up for a more relaxed, comfortable fit — especially for Western-style layering over shirts or undershirts.
- Prefer a fitted look? Choose your exact measured size or size down for a more tailored silhouette.
- Washing & shrinkage: Our garments are pre-treated to minimize shrinkage. However, we recommend washing in cold water and air drying to maintain the best fit and print quality over time.
- Custom orders: Because all items are made-to-order, please double-check your size selection before completing your purchase. We cannot accept returns for incorrect size choices.
